- Pop up Restaurant at Bix Manor

For the final Pop-Up Restaurant at Bix Manor this season we are  presenting a Middle Eastern Menu, inspired in part by Yotam Ottolenghi and of course, our own Head Chef, Kevin Cadman. Canapés and cocktails are served around the fireplace in the Great Tithe Barn from 8.00 pm and dinner will be in the Library at 8.45 pm; the evening finishes at 11.00 pm. Wines in association with Woods Wines are included with each course and there is an opportunity to buy additional bottles if you would like.

You may book up to 8 places; for numbers of less than 4, you may be seated at tables of 6 or 8 with other guests.

Chicken & lemon scented broth with a sesame filo straw and pepper essence

Baked aubergine filled with saffron rice, semi dried fruits, halloumi and toasted pine kernels on marinated fennel bulb and cucumber, grilled chicory and spiced pomegranate dressing

Lamb leg tagine  flavoured with spices, barberries and dates,  roasted garlic and tomato, served with caramelised red onion potato cake, courgettes and peppers dressed with harrisa

Vegetarian alternative: Chick pea and broad bean tagine flavoured with spices, barberries and dates,  roasted garlic and tomato, served with caramelised red onion potato cake, courgettes and peppers dressed with harrisa

Orange, cinnamon and almond cake with sticky tangerine glaze with lemon curd sauce, cherry jelly and toffee set cream, citrus sorbet and blood orange syrup
